Essential Shot List

Whilst looking at examples of 1980s music videos, we came to the conclusion that it would be difficult to story board an entire performance, and merely decided to choreograph the performance, and film it a variety of different times from a variety of different angles. In order to ensure we achieved all that we needed to, we created an essential shot check-list:

A wide angle shot from the back of the hall
Kinetic close ups of every single band member, including instruments.
A 360 degree tracking shot that goes round the band during verse 2.
Low angle close up of the bands feet
Low angle left-right kinetic shot of the band
Low angle zooming shot of the band

In addition, we plan on filming additional angles once we are on location, in order to see how it looks best.

For the VHS section, we have planned a variety of scenarios, which we will then film. We have created a loose storyboard, but anticipate changing it on set as different opportunities arise.

Scenarios:
Woodland
Popping out behind tree
Meal
Storming out house
Argument
Garden sunbathing
Christmas
